Immersive environments for training
Avansim's Virtual Reality software recreates both the vehicle cab and passenger saloon in immersive detail, enabling staff to practise procedures and operational activities carried out in and around the vehicle. Training scenarios can include safety walkarounds, boarding and alighting procedures, vehicle familiarisation and emergency evacuation drills.
Delivered through a VR headset, the training can take place at a depot, in a classroom or remotely. This provides operators with a flexible and practical way to maintain staff competence and readiness, even when access to a physical vehicle is limited or unavailable.
