Hazard Perception

In partnership with the Light Rail Safety Standards Board

Avansim's Hazard Perception software presents drivers with realistic, scenario-based footage from operational networks. Trainees are required to identify and respond to developing hazards, with their reactions, decision-making and overall performance automatically monitored and scored.

Assessment results can be recorded directly within individual training records, making the software an effective tool for initial driver training, refresher programmes and ongoing competency assessment.
